An apprentice usually has the suffix -paw, unless otherwise noted. A warrior, however, has a different suffix entirely, sometimes having to do with their description, personality, or even a significance to another character. Rarely, a cat will change its name if their parents or they themselves do not think it suits them anymore.
In the case of the Ancient Cats and the Early Settlers (e.i. names such as Moth Flight), their names were simply united into one word and then used as a simple prefix/suffix name (e.i. Prefix "Moth-", suffix "-flight").

I’m creating a clan with like 70 cats and I’d like to hear some unique prefixes and suffixes to give me name ideas. They could be ones that have either not been used, or ones that were in the books but most people in the fandom don’t use commonly.
14 Ιουλ 2021 · These suffixes are not 100% traditionalist, but I do try to have some logical meaning to things. That is the prefix points to a cat's appearance or circumstances surrounding their birth, and a suffix either speaks to their skills, personality, history or enhances the prefix.
