The mask runs on an Arduino Nano powered by 3 x AA1.5v batteries. There's 1 potentiometer to control the brightness and 1 push button for all controls. Single press moves one animation forward, double press moves one back and long hold switches to random mode, switching animation every few seconds.

Here's my 3D printed mask with built in smartphone controlled LED lightshow. I made it to take to music festivals and such. The mask is printed in transparent PETG on my Prusa MK2.5. There's an 'inner' and 'outer' shell, with WS2812B individually addressable LED strips sandwiched between.
