Use this chart to find equivalent gearing when the reference is known and the desired ring and pinion is diferent. Start by locating the known gear set in the left hand column. Slide over to the known ring and pinion ratio column to find the overall gear ratio. Find the closest match to the overall gear ratio under the new ring and pinion column.
