The standard information requirements are those which are required as a minimum to meet the registration obligations of REACH. They depend on the quantity of the substance that is manufactured or imported into the EU/EEA and are described in Annexes VI to X to REACH.
REACH establishes procedures for collecting and assessing information on the properties and hazards of substances. Companies need to register their substances and to do this they need to work together with other companies who are registering the same substance.
29 Ιουλ 2024 · If you manufacture or import one tonne or more per year of a chemical substance in the EEA, you must record this in the REACH database. REACH stands for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.
Reporting. National competent authorities from EU Member States and EEA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) are required to submit to the Commission every five years a report on the operation of REACH and the compliance with CLP. See the reports for 2020 and 2015.

REACH includes an authorisation requirement to ensure that the risks from substances of very high concern (SVHCs) are properly controlled and that those substances are progressively replaced by suitable alternative substances or technologies.
REACH is the European Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It entered into force in 2007, replacing the former legislative framework for chemicals in the EU. Its purpose is to ensure a high level of protection for human health and the environment.
