27 Οκτ 2018 · For most games, "Ready to start" simply means loading the start menu for a game from my experience and nothing further. We need to know what "Ready to Start" means for each game. Hopefully, this system is better implemented in the feature.
So ready to start generally means: access the main menu of the game but doing this will end up making you wait ten times the amount of time to actually play the game. Microsoft has ignored this as an issue for a decade.
However, for other games, it means you can start playing the campaign from the beginning earlier, or play a small sample of what the game offers, such as an exhibition match of FIFA with only a couple teams to choose from, just so you have something to do while you wait for it to finish.
After it gets past the "Ready to Start" section (about 15-20% after said section) it randomly won't show any of the download process and won't install, instead saying "Ready to Start". I've tried multiple things for this to work and sometimes it will bug out where the installation bar will download by about 20 megabytes for 5 seconds and then ...
You CAN play a little bit of the game... but it's not worth the tradeoff. SSD will basically eliminate this issue if installing from disc... but its always going to the one of those "Weakest...
