27 Οκτ 2018 · For most games, "Ready to start" simply means loading the start menu for a game from my experience and nothing further. We need to know what "Ready to Start" means for each game. Hopefully, this system is better implemented in the feature.
However, for other games, it means you can start playing the campaign from the beginning earlier, or play a small sample of what the game offers, such as an exhibition match of FIFA with only a couple teams to choose from, just so you have something to do while you wait for it to finish.
26 Μαρ 2021 · There are three ways to play 4K movies and TV shows on your Xbox One S or X. The first is the most old school way. You get a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and pop it into the Xbox’s disc drive. It’ll play in native 4K.
Something to do with Xbox having trouble reading certain TYPES of 4K disc. Here is what fixed it for me: Reset the memory cache by holding down Xbox power button for like 10 seconds.
So in my experience, the One X has been a decent 4K player. With that being said, it is not the player for everyone -it really depends on your needs. As others have mentioned, none of the consoles (Xbox or PlayStation) support Dolby Vision for discs.
18 Ιουλ 2017 · The Xbox One S supports 4K, HDR10 and Wide Colour Gamut (Rec. 2020) but currently it does not support Dolby Vision. The console will automatically read the EDID of your display and set its output for resolution, HDR compatibility and 3D support based on your display's capabilities.
You CAN play a little bit of the game... but it's not worth the tradeoff. SSD will basically eliminate this issue if installing from disc... but its always going to the one of those "Weakest...
