The image of God in its present reality and future fullness is a gift of God worked in man by the Holy Spirit through the light of the gospel of Christ.
He created the heavens and the earth; the stars and the planets; the sun and the moon; birds, beasts and fish; light and dark. And of course, God created man and woman—in his own image. As God’s image bearers, is it any wonder that the same verb motivates so much of the human experience?

More important, Jesus himself perfectly images God in his life and ministry as he relates to God, people, and nature.
God reveals himself through human beings - image-bearers of God. All human beings - Christian or nonChristian - are able to communicate important truth about God. No other creature reflects God as greatly as human beings.
