30 Αυγ 2018 · We just thought it might be useful to start a thread full of diagrams and information, geared toward a Rebel Wire harness, but also including information about wiring in general. We'll be adding in information and diagrams as we go.
7 Ιαν 2021 · I just finished installing a harness in a 67 Single cab and wanted to post some pictures and tips like I’ve done for some of our other harnesses. It might take a little while to build this post since I also build harnesses and do all the tech at Rebel Wire.
30 Αυγ 2018 · Here's a quick fan relay wiring diagram if anyone needs it. View attachment 4023777 ... I bought your fan relay harness and a Hayden thermostat switch.. The Hayden diagram doesn't address using a relay but shows the thermostat wired in series between the ignition switch and fan positive.
Rebel Wire harnesses are all assembled in America from American made components. We use only heavy duty SXL wire and label each one every 6" then bundle them for easy installation. Each kit comes with easy to follow instructions and tech line information.
30 Αυγ 2018 · The power wire for the horn relay is 12ga, the trigger wire from the horn button and out to the horn is 14ga. I believe that’s it, and the other wires are the same gauge as the 12v kits, since we’re already heavier on some of those.
A FUSIBLE LINK IS A SHORT PIECE OF INSULATED LOW-VOLTAGE CABLE WITHIN AN AUTOMOTIVE WIRING HARNESS THAT IS DESIGNED TO PROTECT THE HARNESS IN APPLICATIONS WHERE A FUSE IS UNSUITABLE. IN AN EXTREME CURRENT OVERLOAD SITUATION, THE CONDUCTOR WITHIN THE LINK IS MELTED WHILE THE ENSUING FLAME AND SPARK IS CONTAINED WITHIN THE LINK'S INSULATION.
30 Αυγ 2018 · It's not a problem. You can actually use the 2 pin flasher and put the P (pilot) and L (load) wire both to the flasher wire in the harness. The only drawback it that the indicator in the switch will glow whenever the key is on, and flash when you use the signals, like normal.
