9 Μαΐ 2024 · I am having the same issue, tried Google Chrome, Safari, private mode and normal mode and restore is the only option. I can not "empty recycle bin" as that gets stuck and doesn't do anything. The only work around is selecting the items one by one in my one drive app on my ipad but I have thousands I need to delete. Please come up with a fix.

I'm using windows 7 home premium. In recycle bin I can see the folders and sizes of individual folders in detail view. But when I select more than two folders I cannot see the combined folder or file size of both. The preview pane is useless as it does not show the size of recycle bin items, just the size of currently selected item in the bin.
28 Νοε 2014 · I previously deleted a couple of files, and proceeded to empty recycle bin. Today, I keep getting popups saying recycle bin corrupted and if I want to empty the recycle bin. I clicked yes upon which it asks for administrator permission to continue, which I give, but it keeps saying I don't have permission to delete some files.
I deleted a large file containing about 60 gigs from my hard drive by sending it to the recycle bin and emptying the bin, because the drive was full. All though the files are gone, my computer does not recognize the free space, and will not let me defragment the hard drive or save any new data to the hard drive, saying that it is too full.
