How to run the Origin version of Red Alert 2 + Yuri's Revenge with full resolutions on Windows 11. So I couldn't find an easily followed bullet proof guide on how to properly set up the Origin version of the game with big resolutions on modern systems. So I made one!
Use Windows Xp compatibility mode, full screen optimisation, set DPI override for the app and enable 16 colors. Also, run as admin. (I also don’t advise 4k, go for 1080p max. The UI will be too small and you will see the entire map on your screen otherwise)
One thing you could do is get a program to make a custom resolution that then fits your screen. Check what your normal resolution is, and see what zoom level is set under Display settings. Example: my own screen is 3000x2000 but magnified 200%, so "optimal" resolution would be 1500x1000.
