3 Φεβ 2022 · I have not used red label, but I would not recommend combat for ceramic belts. I have some 2x72 ceramics from them and they have no longevity at all. I recently spoke to someone who carries their line and he said they have had many other complaints of the same thing.
21 Ιουν 2020 · I don’t know but I look for the best value abrasive... I find that to be VSM belts. Belts are a significant expenditure for me. I’ve never used combat Abrasives but if it’s those red shredder belts then I don’t think those belts are that good. I did try a couple shredder belts late last year.
Red Label Abraisives mostly. Very cost effective and long enough lasting. I've got some other belts I bought recently from Maker Material Supply and one is a Combat Abraisives shredder. It is extremely efficient and seems like it's going to last a long time.
7 Μαΐ 2016 · I ordered some from combat abrasives just because I liked their web interface better than preferred. I have liked the ceramics so far. The black ones, I forget what type they are, were supposed to last pretty long but I felt they didn't outlast plain old AO that well.
Red label is good, combat abrasives are good. Go ceramic for up to 120 or 240. Much less heat, they strip metal for quite a long time. Combat Abrasives has a great 1x30 starter pack. I used them for a long time on my old 1x30.
1 Ιαν 2018 · I got these from combat abrasives. First one blew at the seam within minutes of using despite looking brand new. Both had large chunks of grit missing along the edges as well as a ragged/ loose backing.
I used them for a while on my 1x30. Decent belts but I felt like red labels held up better and cut more aggressively for longer. I never tested them back to back, but I've stuck with red label for a while now.
