21 Ιουν 2020 · I've been using Combat Abrasives since I started out and was always very pleased with their customer service and their belts. The only problem is that I went through two new 40 grit belts trying to grind in the bevels (post-HT) and ended up switching to a new 24 grit to finish.
Red Label Abraisives mostly. Very cost effective and long enough lasting. I've got some other belts I bought recently from Maker Material Supply and one is a Combat Abraisives shredder. It is extremely efficient and seems like it's going to last a long time.
3 Φεβ 2022 · I have not used red label, but I would not recommend combat for ceramic belts. I have some 2x72 ceramics from them and they have no longevity at all. I recently spoke to someone who carries their line and he said they have had many other complaints of the same thing.
7 Μαΐ 2016 · I've used combat abrasives (so far only 80 grit belts), and am happy w/the product. I also received mine w/no issues. They seem active on social media which is helpful if you need to contact them.
Red label is good, combat abrasives are good. Go ceramic for up to 120 or 240. Much less heat, they strip metal for quite a long time. Combat Abrasives has a great 1x30 starter pack. I used them for a long time on my old 1x30.
I used them for a while on my 1x30. Decent belts but I felt like red labels held up better and cut more aggressively for longer. I never tested them back to back, but I've stuck with red label for a while now.
Red Label is way better than Combat abrasive belts. It is because their belts are full of superior quality, has a wider selection, and come in more material variety. So, you can easily choose from a great number of options.
