14 Ιουλ 2022 · Directions. Combine wine, lemon juice, and pectin in a large saucepot. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Return to a rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim foam off top, if necessary. Ladle hot jelly into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
How to Make Red-Wine Jelly. Add the gelatine and water to a small bowl and mix them. Set aside. Add the wine, cognac, sugar, and lemon zest to a cooking pot over low heat. Stir them in. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the gelatin and stir it in. Remove from heat.
