Back to school photo cringe This is more of a rant, but I've been noticing more and more parents posting photos of their kids on the first day of school holding signs that say their name, what grade they're going into, etc.
I'm not a photographer but I probably gave the one who took my second grade school photo a weird feeling. I'd just moved from a third world country and didn't speak a lick of English. I had no idea what a soda can was, much less the hallowed tradition of Picture Day.
Reddit: where any back to school picture gets told to stay on Facebook unless it involves Disney, Star Wars or super hero movies.
Last year I didn't buy any and they have two picture days per year at my kids school; fall and spring. They were awful. So far I've seen one from this year...and it's terrible. I'm really hoping that next picture day, they'll let me come and tidy and encourage my kids. If not, I may just look around for a studio.
30 Απρ 2024 · Everyone has done something cringeworthy in their lives, especially in those awkward middle school and high school days. Whether it was on purpose or by accident, the cringe gets ahold of everyone from time to time, and that's okay.
I showed up one day in a floor length black cape (I was the dictionary definition of a middle school goth). I was going up a flight of stairs when someone stepped on the edge and the string closure around the neck choked the shit out of me and made me fall backwards down a flight of crowded stairs. ahh, middle school.
