Got my gallbladder removed November 2021. If the gallbladder helps breakdown food, including protein, for better absorption/digestion, and protein contributes to better hair health, I certainly could see how no GB could negativity affect hair. I had very dry skin and my hair came out in clumps after each shower.
To be fair, I've been having attacks for 8 years so if I wasn't having these mild symptoms that'd certainly be impressive. If attacks/gb symptoms are a relatively new problem for you, it might make sense that your symptoms would be more mild between attacks.
Another doctor told me today that looking at that photo my gallbladder looks about 3x the size of a healthy female gallbladder... So if it was that massively inflamed I'm not sure why it took me 6 months from my ultrasound date to have it out!

ECRP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) with an injection of a contrast into the biliary ducts to assess the condition.
My surgery was in May and I am just now starting to see little baby hairs growing in. My hair is still extremely thin but the last week or so I’ve noticed much less in the tub. I found the reddit for telogen effluvium to be helpful too, other people not panicking made me not panic.
