We are right between red deer and innisfail so if we need an ER for example, we can go to innisfail and skip the hours of waiting at red deer. But the red deer hospital is where you'll be sent for labor and delivery.

If I had to move to the North end, I'd probably either try to find a nice place in the nicer part of Pines, or the newer parts of Kentwood and Oriol park. However if you ever plan to sell the value of your home won't be so great (Kentwood) because the location is just not that great.

A good place would probably be Lancaster or deer park or rosedale, stay away from lower Fairview, east view and anywhere downtown. If you want some really good advice find a place outside of red deer and save yourself the trouble of living here
