Weekdays before evening hours are cheaper. You can view the rest on the respective cinema promo website. The English-speaking movies here are usually the mass-market type. If you see on social media, it will probably be on the screens here. Non-english speaking movies is wholly dependent on whether it will 'sell' in the SG market.
A cinema week is from Thursday to Wednesday. Thursday to Friday sessions (released on Wednesday after 3pm) / Saturday to Wednesday sessions (released on Friday after 3pm)
Just curious to see which cinema redditors prefer to go to in Singapore, and get some reviews for where to get the best viewing experience to watch movies. Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. cineleisure. brings back teen memories.
I'm new to Singapore and currently residing between Loyang and upper Changi area. I've never visited a movie theatre yet and I was wondering if anyone could suggest. I would primarily watch English / any Indian language movies. Which theatres do you guys frequent, what's the best screen / most affordable movie theaters around?
But i noticed there are 2 extra rows of speakers on the centre ceiling of the theatres. I have watch movies at Shaw, Cathay, GV, Eng Wah (WE Cinema Clementi), Filmgrade. For normal sound grade, i would rank Shaw the highest in terms of sound quality, followed by Cathay and GV.
Where's the best cinema in Singapore for watching big blockbusters (Endgame, Dune, Top Gun...)? Question I saw some several-year-old threads in r/singapore discussing IMAX vs GVMax screens and sound-systems, wondering if cinema heads can share if things have changed.
For those who have been there, how is the cinema experience? The ticket is much cheaper than other cinemas so I'm kinda sceptical of it. How would you rate the popcorns, environment, video, and sound?
