Only get a refurbished oled if you know the screen on hours (it can be cheked from the settings). Anything above 3000 hours is a no go. The C1 is a TV released 1 year ago and 3K hours is more than 8 hours daily. Ideally look for a TV with less than 1.5K hours if possible.
Try Greentoe, make an offer, make it around 300 less whatever Best Buy has it on sale for and see what they say. IF you do this when it is on a good sale you can actually do very well if they have any left.
Just wondering what everyone's thought on buying a refurbished OLED TV? Is it worth the big discount? I have purchased a refurbished QD-OLED ultrawide monitor and it has been fantastic with no issues. Is it different with a TV though? Either looking at a sony or LG oled.
I've been looking for a TV for about a month now and the best deals I find are obviously the refurbished ones. I've read quite a few articles about Refurbished TVs but nothing very consistent. Pros I've heard: usually refurbished isn't damaged, people just return electronics for a variety of reasons.
I just watched a couple reviews on YouTube, and they said they only difference was significant brightness. I bought a 55 inch C2 just to test out whether I liked an OLED to begin with and I did but the only thing that I was struggling with was the brightness coming from having a neo Qled.
In general I would not be looking to buy a used TV from a private individual. They would have to be practically giving it away price wise and/or be someone I knew and trusted. What's the TV model and price compared to what you could get new at a similar price point?
I am looking to get a new TV and I am not sure if Best Buy's "refurbished" options are going to be worth the savings. Does anyone have any experience with these TVs and if it is safe to buy? Thanks!
