As of 6/21/2018, the Ohio State Fire Marshal changed the procedure for obtaining a Fire Alarm License. Test are now administered through PSI Services. There is a two-step process you must follow: Step 1: Applying for the Test – $35.00. These pages include reference materials and Important filing instructions.
All exams are closed book and you will have two hours to take the exam. Exams are administered by PSI Services. To obtain copies of the NFPA Standards, call (800) 344-3555 or https://www.nfpa.org/For-Professionals/Codes-and-Standards/List-of-Codes-and-Standards/Free-access. Applications must be typewritten or neatly printed.
