For Nurse Anesthesia specialty track applicants: A minimum of one-year full-time, recent (within 2 years of application) work experience, or its part-time equivalent, as a registered nurse in a critical care setting is required by the COA.

The Ohio Board of Nursing regulates training programs in Ohio that prepare students for certification. OBN accomplishes this regulation by assuring that new and existing programs meet and maintain the requirements outlined in Chapter 4723-23, Ohio Administrative Code, as evidenced by the Board’s granting of its approval.
The RN to BSN Program at The Ohio State University College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.
The on-line RN to BSN program requires 120 credit hours with a minimum of 30 semester hours to be taken at Ohio State*. The university requires that you complete your degree requirement in three major areas.
