Pull the bolt rearward, sliding the bolt assembly from the firearm. Look into the ejection port, visually check the chamber and magazine to make sure the firearm is completely unloaded. Remove the barred/action from the stock by removing the three takedown screws, using a 1/8” and 1/16” Allen Wrench. See Picture 13.
