Krieger magazine release buttons generally measure 13.5mm x 9.5mm (Fig 2). The fitting of this button involved machining a small inlet into the bottom of the trigger plate, and by drilling & installing a pin to secure the spring loaded magazine release.
6 Οκτ 2011 · There is a factory built detachable magazine Model 8 in the Remington Archives that used a special block fitted to the trigger plate. We know of two of these rifles, the one in the archives with a nice, lengthy magazine and one other in a private collection with a much shorter magazine.
5 Ιαν 2011 · The single-stack magazine can be loaded one cartridge at a time or with a stripper clip. Magazine capacity is five rounds for the .25, .30, and .32 Remington and four rounds for the .35 Remington. The bolt remains open after the last cartridge is fired.
7 Απρ 2022 · I have seen pictures of home made tools for disassembly of the Model 8/81 rifle, specifically the spanners needed to remove and install the barrel nut and the barrel jacket bushing. Can anyone steer me to diagrams and/or instructions for fabrication?
5 Απρ 2012 · One other thing to check is if the shell is not being released from the magazine, there is a small angled on the action bar on the left (as I recall) side. This small angle trips the shell release. If the angle is worn or broken and does not trip the release, a shell may not feed.
7 Δεκ 2013 · Removing the detents will allow you to properly install aftermarket followers and magazine extension tubes. This item is the Magazine Tube Detent Swage Tool for the Remington 870 shotgun (MFG Part# 80-2283T-817-1).
