My 700 ADL came chambered in 223 Remington with a 24″ long, 1:12″ twist, sporter-profile barrel and a synthetic stock. For many match shooters the relatively slow 1:12″ twist almost seems silly; however, these rifles were built and marketed primarily for hunting light game and varmints, where bullets lighter than 55 grains are fairly common.

13 Δεκ 2020 · Ordered a Remington 700 ADL in .308 from Sportsman’s Warehouse and picked it up yesterday. Rifle feels very solid and fit and finish is great. Action is very smooth and the rifle seems well made.
19 Μαρ 2014 · The biggest difference with the ADL is the blind magazine. If you're going to upgrade then its not a bad start. Just make sure it is comparable to the SPS, such as heavy barrel and appropriate twist rate
16 Σεπ 2020 · I think I bought it because it's the first Remington I've seen in .260 where they finally got the twist rate correct and it's the 5R barrel. Bolt knob is removable as the handle is threaded as is the muzzle.
