10 Οκτ 2024 · I'm using the new Remote Desktop app, the one you get from the store, on Windows 11 (but it was the same on Windows 10). When connecting to certain instances, I noticed it especially on WinServer 2012 machines, the screen constantly "flickers"/"shakes", but probably these are not the right words.

When you open Remote Desktop Connection, on the pop-up, select Experience Tab, put a checkmark on the "Persistent Bitmap Caching".

15 Αυγ 2022 · Windows 10 Home users can make an outgoing Remote Desktop connection to a different computer (not running Windows 10 Home!), but not vice versa. Thankfully, a simple, software-based fix works around the issue: the RDP Wrapper Library.

18 Νοε 2020 · I'm connecting via RDP to my work machine, and I see flickering when the RDP window is in fullscreen. I guess the connection is only using 60 Hz (or even less), which leads to synchronisation issues. Is there any way to make the RDP connection use Freesync, or use the full 100 Hz?
