  1. The statutory form for a Montana concealed weapon permit can be found at Montana Code Annotated § 45-8-322. Montana residents who want to know if their concealed weapon permit is valid in another state must check with the specific state in which they want to carry a concealed weapon.

  6. An application to renew a Concealed Weapon Permit can be made up to 90 days prior to the permit's expiration date. Applicants with expired permits must reapply and will be charged the new application fee, plus an additional $5.00 finger printing fee.
