10 Ιουν 2020 · I found a replacement on eBay. On my case, the part on the cover was ok & with a little modification I was able to replace the latch side. There is another style that looks closer, but I only see them in chrome.
Nickel Gibson Case Latch – Large (no holes in hasp) $ 4.99. Nickel plated. For some Gibson cases and others. 1 3/4″ tall. 1 1/4″ wide. 4 holes for mounting 2 – top, 2 – bottom of the latch.

25 Αυγ 2014 · I replaced a latch on a Gibson case with no special tools and it was rather easy. I wanted to fix it myself but was worried about drilling out the old rivets and needing special tools for the new rivets.
This latch type is used on many Gibson cases. Check photo section for measurement diagram. The photo with the case is a Gibson Les Paul case with our latch next to it. You can see it is an exact match. Replacing a latch is very easy. You just pull back the lining a bit.
