1 Αυγ 2017 · Visitors to California’s state parks have a new platform for booking reservations. The new reservation system, ReserveCalifornia™, will be easy-to-use and similar to booking hotels, airline tickets and other comparable services.
Reservations for campsites and lodging can be made six months in advance of the arrival date. Each new date opens at 8 a.m. PST/PDT. Bookings may be extended from the arrival date to the desired departure date – based on availability and the park’s maximum stay rules.

Many campgrounds fill-up six months ahead so plan in advance. First-come first-served sites are available at some parks. Call the park for information on first-come first-served availability prior to arrival.
If the reservation sites are full, look for first-come, first-served campgrounds, and try to arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday to maximize your chance to get a campsite. Please call the specific park for details.
