It's a quite a step back in productivity, as now I have to remove my hands the keyboard, stop from rapid typing and fumble with the mouse just to bring up a context menu for a quick spelling correction.
I was reorganising my toolbars in ie 11 win 8.1 and inadvertently disabled the command bar. No problem. Right click and reinstate it, but OOPS right click...

This will make the menu toolbar appear temporarily, and you can use the keyboard or mouse to access it normally, after which it goes back into hiding.
