29 Ιουν 2021 · We routine stay at 3 stars in the Terminal area -- Hotel Sonya and Aberdeen -- and think they are greats. Others will downplay the Termini area but we like it for convenience to transit. The Rick Steves' guidebook for Rome has excellent recommendations for hotels all over Rome. Check it out.
Rome in Two to Three Days. On the first day, do the "Caesar Shuffle" from the Colosseum to the Roman Forum, then over Capitoline Hill (visiting the Capitoline Museums), and on to the Pantheon. After a siesta, add some sightseeing to suit your interests.
Visit St. Peter's, the greatest church on earth, learn something about eternity by touring the huge Vatican Museums, ramble among the rabble and rubble through ancient Rome's Colosseum and Forum, savor the sumptuous Borghese Gallery, and take an early evening stroll with Rome's beautiful people.
19 Φεβ 2024 · Our two favorite hotels in Rome are in the Termini area -- Sonya and Aberdeen. Wife prefers Sonya -- across from Opera House - because she thinks the lattes are better than the Aberdeen. If they are, it is small margin of difference.
