22 Νοε 2016 · It got great reviews on Trip Advisor, had the itinerary we wanted, fit our budget, and included a delicious lunch at a little Normandy cottage. We took the train from Paris to Bayeux in the morning and met the tour there. Our tour guide, Lloyd, was amazing--an encyclopedia of knowledge.
23 Σεπ 2015 · There are two kinds of tour experiences for the Normandy Beaches: 1) those that pick up and drop off in Paris, and 2) those that start from and drop off in Caen or Bayeux, which means you have to get to Caen or Bayeux on your own and in the morning early enough to catch the tour.
7 Ιουλ 2020 · I took the full day tour of Normandy, well worth the time, the 1/2 tour shows fewer historical sights and appears rushed. The tour company was Bayeux, our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Wanted to see Mont St. Michel but the Bayeux bus was cancelled because the Abby was closed, and most visitors want to see the Abby.

17 Ιουλ 2024 · We just want to spend 2 days and one night exploring the Normandy region ( in an air bnb or hotel) and then return to Paris the next evening. Would you recommend a bus, train, or prearranged tour? This is our first visit to France so any suggestions are welcomed.
Of France's many regions, Normandy is strategically located across from England and handy to Paris. From Rouen we side-trip to Giverny, travel to Bayeux, and see the dramatic D-Day Beaches before finishing at Mont St-Michel.
