Important Dates and Deadlines. Please note that many classes are offered in other date ranges and have different drop dates unique to each class. It is recommended that students refer to the class schedule to verify the drop date for each specific class they are enrolled in.
Effective September 21, 2022, the ADN nursing program at Rio Hondo College located in Whittier, CA. is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. This candidacy status expires April 21, 2025.
The Associate Degree Nursing Program is a two-year program designed to prepare students for employment as a Registered Nurse, providing direct care to patients. Graduates receive an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. The program is approved by the California State Board of Registered Nursing.
Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. The program is accredited by the California State Board of Registered Nursing. Students who complete the curriculum are qualified to take the examina-tion leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse.
