His background in geology, chemistry and a general love for learning propelled this hobby into a small, family-run business known as Ripepi Winery & Vineyard. He loves showing people his vineyard, teaching about grape-growing and his family's history.

This place is a small winery that has some very good wines. Everything I've tried here is always terrific. The red wines that are my favorite is Cabernet Sauvignon, Chancellor, Malbec, DeChaunac, Maréchal Foch, Steuben, and my whites consist of the Diamond Dry goes down dry but the aftertaste is a sweet fruity flavor, and Vidal Blanc.
