Rivne (/ ˈ r ɪ v n ə /; Ukrainian: Рівне, IPA: ⓘ) is a city in western Ukraine. The city is the administrative center of Rivne Oblast , as well as the surrounding Rivne Raion (district created in the USSR) within the oblast. [2] Administratively, Rivne is incorporated as a city of oblast significance and does not belong to the raion.
