14 Μαΐ 2024 · HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Men's Basketball Coach Cornelius Jackson announced the hiring of Rob Fulford as Associate Head Coach on Tuesday. Fulford, a Marshall graduate, returns to his alma mater after spending the last seven seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Akron.
The Thundering Herd finished the season 13–20, 7–11 in Sun Belt play to finish in a tie for tenth place. As the No. 10 seed in the Sun Belt tournament, they defeated Georgia State in the second round before losing to James Madison in the quarterfinals.. After the season, it was announced that head coach Dan D'Antoni was let go and replaced by his associate head coach, Cornelius Jackson.
Rob Fulford, one of the country's most respected coaches from his time leading Huntington Prep and Mountain State Academy, enters his third season as an assistant coach at Mizzou. Fulford has been impactful on both the court and on the recruiting trail in his time with the Tigers.
