Crystallized iron has a 1.5% chance of dropping when breaking iron rocks, both naturally-spawning ones and totem-spawning ones as well. It can only be obtained by breaking an iron rock fully, and can never be obtained by breaking it to its halfway point.

Mineral totems will spawn ore rocks in a 3 block radius of the respective mineral that have the same properties and chance of spawning rare drops (e.g. crystallized iron) as naturally-spawning ore rocks on other islands. A mineral totem has 6 slots that can hold 3 items each with a 20-second cooldown between spawning/harvesting.
