19 Ιαν 2020 · How can I structure my code for a story-driven game? This would involve NPCs, location-based events (e.g. entering a room), and cutscenes. I’ve done a little bit of searching, so my guess is that it involves a finite-state machine and a governing module for each stage.
You'll create your story game by going through three different lessons. Each lesson will have instructions teaching you how to code your game from start to finish. After finishing a lesson, you'll get the chance to earn prizes by playing a quiz game on Roblox.
Start Coding. In Roblox, code is typed inside of scripts using the coding language Lua. Games often have separate scripts for each thing the game needs to do. The library template already has a script named StoryManager which you'll add more code to for your word game.
