Box Critters is a New Virtual World by RocketSnail! The idea is to create new world, inspired by Club Penguin.
RocketSnail (real name Lance Priebe) is the creator, lead developer and currently only mascot of Box Critters and also the founder and CEO of both RocketSnail Games and Hyper Hippo Productions. He is primarily known for his creation of Club Penguin but also has created many other projects such as Epic Snails and Mech Mice .

Each player could give their penguin a name, chat, and explore a multi-room world. Experimental Penguins later evolved into Penguin Chat. I launched Experimental Penguins to the world in July 2000. I was surprised by the success, and have continued to create worlds ever since.
