1 Ιουλ 2009 · PERFORMANCE: Cruise 160 kts. Stall mph 54 kts. Initial climb rate 1,160. Range 705. Ceiling 16,800'. Takeoff distance 1,145'. Landing distance 720'. The first examples of this airframe came from aerospace giant Rockwell Aircraft. Their model 112 first flew in late 1970 and continued to evolve through a number of engine changes.
On the outside, the 114B looks much like its 114A and 114 cousins built in the mid- to late 1970s by Rockwell International. In fact, only the practiced eye can tell the difference between the 200- and 210- horsepower 112s and 112TCs of the '70s and the equivalent-era 260-hp 114s.
The Rockwell Commander 112 and Commander 114 are single-engine four-seat light touring aircraft with retractable landing gear produced by the US-American manufacturer North American Rockwell, later Rockwell International and later by Commander Aircraft Corporation.

5 Ιουλ 1992 · According to Commander, the IO-540-T4B5 engine in the 114/114A makes 75-percent power up to about 5,000 feet. Careful tuning of the induction system enables the 114B, which uses the same engine, to hold 75 percent up to 8,000 feet in standard conditions, the company claims.
26 Φεβ 2001 · Climb performance and range of the 114, at least, are both adequate. Listed rate of climb is just over 1,000 FPM for the 76 model and 1,160 FPM for later ones, comparable to the Mooney and Cessna Skylane RG.
