The airplane is powered by a horizontally opposed, six cylinder, direct drive, normally aspirated, air cooled, fuel injected engine. The engine is a Lycoming IO-540-T4B5 and is rated at 260 horsepower. Fuel is supplied to the engine by two integral fuel tanks, one in the forward section of each wing.
