The AD issues didn't help the reputation (note that the problem was resolved long ago). After the market collapsed, they didn't have any other product line to support them.

Commander 114 seems like an interesting option with excellent balance between price, speed, fuel consumption and comfort. Also there are a lot of low time commanders available on the market, however for some reason this aircraft is unpopular in GA and I’m wondering, why?
