31 Μαΐ 2021 · In conclusion: the two aircraft I came up with are the Bellanca Super Viking and the Rockwell Commander 114. For me the pros and cons list looks as follows: Super Viking: + purchase price (good examples can be found for under $50k, pre-Covid even under $40k) + cruise speed.
10 Νοε 2011 · While quite comfortable to ride in, and a joy to fly, the plane was introduced at the wrong time at a premium price. The AD issues didn't help the reputation (note that the problem was resolved long ago). After the market collapsed, they didn't have any other product line to support them.

Commander 114 seems like an interesting option with excellent balance between price, speed, fuel consumption and comfort. Also there are a lot of low time commanders available on the market, however for some reason this aircraft is unpopular in GA and I’m wondering, why?
