Before even stepping foot into Vesper’s Host, you should head to Spider in the Market District area of the H.E.L.M. to grab the Rogue Network quest. This will lead you through the dungeon multiple times, completing puzzles all throughout.

You can find each quest step with descriptions below: Step 1: Best the “Vesper’s Host” dungeon on any difficulty. Step 2: Locate the beacon on Vesper’s Station’s outer hull. Step 3: Return to Spider.

You should still prioritise the gear you use by running a sim for your character, but the lists below will give you a good idea of what items are considered good for Assassination Rogue, and help you target the right content for each piece of loot.
Rogue Goals: 1) Best in Slot Weapons (especially a good main-hand Piercer). Try to get something with a +% Backstab mod. The two options for this mod are the daggers from either Vulak`Aerr or Tunare. Also keep in mind that a higher damage main-hand means potentially higher backstabs. See my Rogue Piercing Weapon Guide. 2) 41% Worn Haste Item.
