Desert storm is good for activating Mino deposit while freeing up your choice of armor and a weapon slot. DS also gives you a good amount of hit which is very useful for PvP stuff. Desert storm is locked to thief classes. DS is more expensive to refine and slot.

Our goal as a Rogue will be to maximize DPS. We will easily max out both STR and DEX via gear. We will focus on getting +250 worn attack for this expansion. Rogue Goals: 1) Best in Slot Weapons (especially a good main-hand Piercer). Try to get something with a +% Backstab Mod.
If you can find a good farming spot, DRogues are really good. I main one, actually. B. Rogues usually revolve around one skill - TS. They can be good farmers with the right equips (and no dmg penalty afaik) and they're ranged, which is good. They can fill in as DPS in ET runs, too, which is certainly good.
I know that some of these gear can get really expensive to slot and max tier that's why I included all of the possible choices so you can pick whichever fits your budget.
