Welcome to our list of Shadow builds for the Settlers of Kalguur league of Path of Exile (3.25). Shadow is a rogue/assassin class archetype specialising in killing enemies swiftly and silently using Daggers or Claws.
A good build would be blade vortex assassin, which you can play as an elemental crit character, or a poison DoT one. The easier choice is the poison version, since it’s easier to setup and gear as a “first character”. The exact build i would recommend is made by Big Ducks: Big Duck’s build guide (YT link)
After about 6-7 restarts and 2 (Hard/POTD) finishes all with rogue as hero, here are the builds I have found to work really well. Before I go off on explaining the builds, I have to go into how rogue mechanics work and party compositions to make them succeed.
3% increased Damage per Endurance, Frenzy or Power Charge25%. Auras from your Skills have 10% increased Effect on you23%. +25% to Critical Strike Multiplier against Unique Enemies21%. +1% Chance to Block Spell Damage per 5% Chance to Block Attack Damage19%. Non-Vaal Strike Skills target 1 additional nearby Enemy17%.
Clear Speed builds are the exceptional good at killing monsters quickly and finishing a zone or map fast. Usually, builds that are especially good at clearing may lack single target damage or sometimes even struggle to kill bosses.
Your perception is fine for a melee rogue. If you're wanting to be ranged, then you need to boost that, probably at the expense of CON. The trick with a rogue in most games, and POE is no exception, is movement and placement. You can't expect to be going toe to toe with heavies and survive.
