29 Ιουλ 2020 · Mentoring programs for nurses already in the health workforce are growing in importance. Yet, the settings, goals, scale, and key features of these programs are not widely known. To identify and synthesize research on in-service nurse mentoring programs. We reviewed nurse mentoring research from six databases.
Mentorship programs help both mentees and mentors remain in nursing programs both through increasing students’ academic performance and strengthening their emotional resilience. Both of these competencies are necessary to offer skilled and compassionate patient care.
