Roman Nose State Park, named after a Cheyenne chief, is one of the original seven Oklahoma state parks. Set amidst a beautiful canyon, gypsum rock cliffs and three natural springs, recreational activities at this state park include an 18-hole golf course, hiking trails, canoeing, paddle boats, mountain biking and horseback rides by reservation.
Roman Nose State Park. Sep 2021. This state park is located just north of Watonga. The lodge is beautiful with a great restaurant called Swadley's Foggy Bottom Kitchen which is the same family as Swadley's Barbeque and the General store for dining.

1 Οκτ 2024 · Campground facilities at Roman Nose State Park include full hookup sites, sites with water and electric hookups, as well as tent sites. Online reservations must be made for all campsites. From April through October, book one of the park¿s teepees for a unique overnight stay.
Roman Nose State Park is open year-round. Some activities within the park are only available seasonally. Inquire with the Lodge Office (405-295-2770) for dates and hours of operation.
