Romans chapter 8 is one of the most blessed, encouraging and thrilling chapters in the Bible for the person who is "IN CHRIST JESUS" (compare verse 1, verse 39). The chapter begins with NO CONDEMNATION (v.1) and it ends with NO SEPARATION (verses 35-39).
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
The law of the Spirit of life is the longer explanation. How does this law work? 1. God did a thing that the Law could not do – produce a holy life (walk). NOTE: We are no longer dealing with our salvation in whose case the LAW was also unable to contribute. Rather, we are dealing with the Christian life (walk). Heb 10:1-4; Rom. 3:19-20.
