Romeo and Juliet speak a sonnet in dialogue, slightly altering the rhyme scheme. Romeo speaks the first quatrain and Juliet the second. These two quatrains are cleverly linked. Rather than the normal rhyme scheme, ABAB CDCD, the quatrains rhyme ABAB CBCB.
