Rooms are available for reservation on a first come, first served basis. Reservations may be placed up to two weeks in advance. A student may place up to 2 hours of reservations each day. Group study rooms are available to reserve for the use of two or more people.
How-to Submit a Classroom Reservation Request. Submit a request using our online reservation request form. Step by step instructions for creating a reservation can be found on the EMS website. The EMS User Guide provides additional information on using the EMS system.
The Online Room Reservation Request system is available to members of the GW Law community through the GW Law Web Portal. Please log into the Portal and click on the Room Reservations tab at the top of the page. Once you have submitted a request, you will receive an automatic e-mail reply.
GW students living on campus can reserve study spaces in the University Student Center and District House. Special social distancing guidelines will be in place. If you need assistance, contact the Student Center team at [email protected] or 202-994-1785.

Academic space may be requested for use by student organizations, GW departments, and outside (non-profit or government) groups. Outside groups must have a GW sponsor in order to rent space and must be either a non-profit or government organization. Outside groups may only rent space in the Summer semester.
