Here is the verse: “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” (Solomon 2:1) Here are some basic facts about this verse and how it may be related to Jesus being considered the Rose of Sharon.
Song of Songs 2:1 (NIV) I am a rose of Sharon, A lily of the valleys. Bible Atlas says... A 'rose' of Sharon then may represent that she is a flower that has bloomed in season and she knows it. As for the song writers, it is fair to say the Lord is the Fairest of Ten Thousand.
