The ROTAX 914 engine is equipped with two air-pressure sensors. One measures aircraft ambient pressure and the other measures airbox pressure. Both air-pressure sensors report to the TCU and play a vital function in helping the TCU achieve the optimum level of boost.

The Rotax 914 is a turbo-charged, four-stroke, four-cylinder, horizontally opposed aircraft engine with air-cooled cylinders and water-cooled cylinder heads. It is designed and built by the Austrian company BRP-Powertrain, owned by Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP), as part of its Rotax brand.
Rotax produce the 912 (80hp), 912S (100hp), 914 (100hp continuous, 115hp peak) also 912is and now the915is (140hp) engines.
